2 new slow jam mixes

14 Feb

If you still need a soundtrack for your night out tonight, or your night in.  I’ve got you covered.

First is for the sad emo type.  I’ve finally decided to do a second part to my first slow jam mix from back in ’99.  Here it is… better late than never?

Since its Valentine’s Day, I couldn’t just drop a sad emo mix, so I slapped this one together real quick.  Its pretty self explanatory.  Bedroom Behavior Vol. 4.  I still have Vol. 1 available for download.  Vol. 2 had some parts that I didn’t like, and I never fixed it.  Vol. 3 I made for Cygnet, and she decided that she didn’t want to share it.  So those two will never be online.  If you have Vol 1 and 4, then you’re up to date!  Download it now!!  Picture me playing for you like when you’re chillin with your significant other.  Creepy?  Whatever..

If you don’t have plans for New Year’s Eve yet, It’d be pretty awesome if you came to hang out with us.  I’ll be rockin the patio at J Lounge with B.Bless.  They’ll have the typical club junk inside, but we got lucky and get to play music we actually like.  So we’ll be bringing in the new year with good vibes and good music. Xscape – Hold On (Live on Teen Summit)

28 Nov

I came across this randomly. Xscape, before they were signed, performing Hold On by EnVogue, on BET, with a 5th member.

Santana – Umi Says (cover)

25 Nov

Not that Mos Def needs any sort of validation on his place in music, but when a Legend like Carlos Santana decides to cover one of your songs, it definitely says something. Check it:

Total ft. The Notorious B.I.G. – Can’t You See (LIVE)

24 Nov

Another track to take you back.

Sara Smile

23 Nov

The original version of Sara Smile by Hall & Oates is an amazing song, PERIOD. Now, when it comes to live covers, this Brian McKnight version that I came across on YouTube gives it a good run for its money.

Here’s Hall & Oates doing their own song, but I think I’d rather listen to the recorded album version.
